HON 800 Makes a Difference

When my office manager ordered our first HON 800 file cabinet, I did not give it a second thought. A file cabinet is a file cabinet, right? They are bulky and difficult to work with, but necessary for keeping files. HON 800 changes all of that.

The first thing I noticed about the quality HON 800 was how levelly it sat on our office floor. Most of the other file cabinets in our office wobble because our floor is not very level, but not the HON 800 because it has four adjustable level gliders to give the HON 800 extra stability.

When I opened the first drawer on the HON 800 cabinet, I was surprised at how easy it was to open. I admit, I was still skeptical because the HON 800 drawer was empty, but when I filled it with files, the HON 800 drawer slid open and closed just as easily and smoothly as it did when the HON 800 was empty.

Then I began to worry about the stability of the durable HON 800 cabinet drawer because the HON 800drawer slid all the way out so easily. There was no need to worry, between the mechanism that HON installs to keep more than one drawer from opening at a time and the HON Triple-Tied® suspension, the drawer and the cabinet will remain stable when we open the HON 800 drawer fully.

When I read the accompanying brochure, I realized that counter balances and a double-walled base are partly responsible for the quality of HON file cabinets. Now I am looking forward to the delivery of our next HON from eofficedirect.com.
