The HON 500 Series 30" wide 2 drawer lateral file in putty provides efficient storage for small offices for regular use. It allows side-to-side filing of letter or legal size files without any additional accessories. If you wish to file from front-to-back, you will need to purchase the optional cross rails. In addition, doing front-to-back filing for letter size files gives you an additional 3 1/2" of filing per drawer. For your safety, it includes a mechanical interlock that prevents opening more than one drawer to prevent tipping. Included leveling glides adjust for uneven floors. Lock located in center of unit locks entire drawer more securely on both sides. Also, included are leveling glides to adjust for uneven floors.
