The HON 600 Series 42" wide 5-drawer lateral file in Light Gray provides efficient storage for small or large offices for intensive daily use. It allows side-to-side filing of letter or legal without any additional accessories. If you wish to file from front-to-back, you will need to purchase the optional cross rails. In addition, doing front-to-back filing for letter size files gives you an additional 3 1/2" of filing per drawer. It also has mechanical interlock which allows only one drawer to open at a time to prevent tipping for your safety. The Roll out posting shelf hold contents while filing. The lock is located in the center and the unit locks entire drawer more securely on both sides. The top four drawers are receding door roll-out shelves and the bottom is a fixed front drawer. It also provides four leveling glides for uneven floors.
