Product Description
The HON 600 Series 42" wide 5 drawer lateral file cabinet in Putty provides three-part telescoping slide suspension with efficient storage for small offices for regular use. The top drawer is a roll out shelf and the other drawers are fixed front.  It also has a posting shelf.  It allows side-to-side filing of letter or legal size files without any additional accessories.  If you wish to file from front-to-back, you will need to purchase the optional cross rails. For your safety, it includes a mechanical interlock that prevents opening more than one drawer to prevent tipping. Lock is located in the center and the unit locks entire drawer more securely on both sides. Also, they are leveling glides to adjust for uneven floors.

HON Double Cross Rails convert this cabinet from side-to-side filing to front-to-back filing for more efficient use of the space. In fact, if you are doing letter size filing, they provide approximately 6 3/4" of extra filing space per drawer. Five packs will convert all drawers within this cabinet.
