Made from Sugar Cane Fiber “Bagasse”, the fibrous waste left over after the extraction of the sugar from the cane. Plates, cups, bowls, trays and clam-shells (take away containers) tolerate both high (212°F) and low heat applications holding either wet or dry food. Can be frozen, microwaved or baked. It is also the most cost-effective replacement for Styrofoam. Serves as an excellent alternative to both plastic and paper tableware. Composts in 90 to 180 days depending on the conditions of the compost pile. Dinnerware Type: Plate; Material(s): Bagasse; Capacity (Volume): N/A; Shape: Round.
