Product Description
The HON 600 Series 30" wide 5-drawer lateral file cabinet in Putty provides efficient storage for small or large offices for intensive daily use with its three-part telescoping slide suspension.  The top drawer is a roll out shelf and the cabinet also has a posting shelf.  It allows side-to-side filing of letter or legal without any additional accessories.  If you wish to file from front-to-back, you will need to purchase the optional cross rails.  In addition, doing front-to-back filing for letter size files gives you an additional 3 1/2" of filing per drawer.   It also has mechanical interlock which allows only one drawer to open at a time to prevent tipping for your safety. The lock is located in the center and locks all drawers more securely on both sides.  It also provides four leveling glides for uneven floors.

HON Single Cross Rails convert this cabinet from side-to-side filing to front-to-back filing for more efficient use of the space. In fact, if you are doing letter size filing, they provide approximately 3 1/2" of extra filing space per drawer. Three packs will convert all drawers within this cabinet.
