Hello America,

Have y'all been watching the Olympics?  I have and it’s very exciting, though it’s keeping me from a good night’s sleep.  More than once I have caught myself jumpin’ up in bed rootin’ for Michael Phelps!

I remember a guy who used to say, “Another name for second place is the first loser”.  I certainly wouldn’t say that about any of these fine athletes competing in the Summer Olympics!  Walking away with a Gold, Silver or Bronze medal takes effort, discipline and lots of commitment.  The USA is leading the medal count with 16 Gold, 12 Silver and 11 Bronze for a total of 39 medals.  Pretty impressive!
