I work from home often.  When I first began doing so I had no desk, no office space.  I tried to work sitting in a chair with my laptop.  That was too cramped.  For a time, I worked standing at my dresser…not enough room.  I moved to the dining table where I had plenty of space to spread out, but had to clear my “desk” in time for dinner!
