Hello Friends,

I'm sure most of you have seen something about the sit-to-stand movement finding its way into the mindset of folks stuck at their desk all day.  If you haven't, well, it's the latest trend so catch up and be cool like the rest of us!

Basically, the thought is that sitting all day is simply not good for you. Sounds pretty reasonable, huh? There are plenty of articles out there to support the health benefits of standing, at least half the time while working.  But, as you can image there are a few naysayers.  I even read one article where a woman complained of developing "cankles" from standing so much more. Hmmm...

Either way, the market has responded with a good variety of products from manufacturers like Safco, BBF, ESI, Right Angle and one of our biggest sellers Lorell, to accommodate just about any user.  I'm gonna share some of those with you next week along with some of the health benefits of standing.

Today I wanna show you HON's newest addition, the Directional Desktop Sit-to-Stand.  This is HON version of the "thing you add to your existing desk so you can stand up to work."  Click here to watch an informative two minute tutorial video, to learn what this riser can do for you.

Here's what HON has to say about their newest pride and joy:  Sitting all day can be a real pain. Literally. That’s why HON developed Directional, the desktop device that turns any 20”-30” deep worksurface into a sit-to-stand workstation. That’s right, now you can retrofit your workspace to encourage activity and promote movement throughout the day, which is vital for a healthy work style. With Directional, there’s no complicated assembly or installation instructions, and a convenient lever helps you move the platform up and down effortlessly. All you have to do is choose whether to sit or stand—whenever and wherever you want.

Okay, that's it for today.  I encourage you to think more about standing up at your desk. It could be a simple and easy change to a better you this year.  If you're interested in learning more about sit to stand products and just can't wait 'til next week, let me know.  I'm always happy to help!
